Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action with pneumatic assist.

Three manuals. 28 stops. 32 ranks.

The organ is in a gallery-level case at the rear of the room. Traditional style console. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Combination Action: Fixed mechanical system. Flat straight pedalboard.

  • Rebuilt by Henry A. Burke 1878, 3-27. Emergency repairs 1996 for OHS convention. Unused 1997. Damaged by plaster 1997. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Updated through online information from Paul Marchesano. -- The original mechanical combination machine is extant but disconnected from the stop action, apparently in 1878 with the addition of a Choir division and third manual. Damage from ceiling falling in is being worked on currently by church volunteers advised by amateurs. (Database Manager. March 18, 2009)
