Technical Details

Slider chests with EP pull-downs (externally mounted).

Three manuals. 38 stops. 42 ranks. 2312 pipes. Manual compass is 58 notes. Pedal compass is 30 notes.

The organ is in a gallery-level case at the rear of the room. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, center.

Stop keys above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Adjustable combination pistons. Crescendo Pedal. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action thumb pistons. Coupler reversible toe studs.

  • Ded. 19 Mar 1895, R. Huntington Woodman, organist. In West gallery. Pedals, tubular pneumatic. Key action was chest pneumatic. the finger actuates only a small disc, which, when opened, allows compressed air from the bellows to open the valve. Adjustable combination action. Choir pipes were installed at a later date than original installation, Church reopened in 1981 after 12 years of inactivity. Organ in poor condition then. Console altered - terraced stop action replaced by tabs over manuals, combination pedals replaced by 6 thumb pistons. 2 tonal changes in Swell. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
