Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 14 stops. 18 registers. 16 ranks. Manual compass is 58 notes. Pedal compass is 27 notes.

Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, not in standard AGO position. No combination action. Flat straight pedalboard.


  • The builder did not use opus numbers to identify his work, but the catalog number S-97 was assigned to this instrument by Elizabeth Towne Schmitt and may be used for reference. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
