Abbey Chapel adjoins Mary Lyon Hall. This one is unusual: note the 32ft English Horn. This organ is relatively unaltered, mostly by Skinner himself. The acoustic in the chapel was greatly livened prior to the installation of the Fisk in the gallery and "Bessie," as she is known, sounds to good advantage in the improved environment. Dr. Larry Schipull, Organist and Music Dept Chair, is very much at home on both instruments and is so instructing his students.
