Status and Condition

The organ has been altered from the original installation as described here.
The organ is in good condition and is used occasionally.
We received the most recent update on this organ's state and condition July 28, 2014.

Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) chests.

Three manuals. 25 ranks.

Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, left.

Drawknobs in vertical rows on angled jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Adjustable combination pistons. Concave radiating pedalboard.

  • Cost $5000 + freight $400, installation $1600. Cleaned and repaired by volunteers supervised by Balcolm-Vaughan in 1983. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Updated through online information from Kent Brocklebank. -- Once the roll top is opened the organist must "push out" the wing stop jambs. Fantastic organ to play! (Database Manager. July 28, 2014)
