C. Bobsin Organs was established in 2006 in San Antonio, Texas by Curtis Bobsin, formerly of Miller Pipe Organ Company of Louisville, Kentucky. Shortly thereafter, he became the owner of and absorbed Ballard Pipe Organs, a regional builder based in San Antonio, Texas.
From 2010 to 2013, Bobsin managed C. Bobsin in Texas and Miller Pipe Organ Company and its subsidiary, Miller Custom Woodworking in Louisville, Kentucky. Bobsin left Miller in 2013 and returned to Texas full time to concentrate on the expansion of his business there.
In September of 2016, Bobsin began a partnership with Mark Fischer, owner and operator of Fischer Pipe Organ Co. of Erie, Ohio. Fischer merged his firm with Bobsin, relocated to Texas, and became general manager of C. Bobsin Organs.
C. Bobsin Organs is a full service organbuilder, doing service and tuning, repairs, rebuilds, and expansions/upgrades of existing organs and constructing new instruments. Their service area includes the Midwest and the southeastern United States. Curtis Bobsin is a member of the American Institute of Organbuilders.
