Paul R. Marchesano on September 29, 2022:

The OHS Handbook of 1992 gives the date of 1875 purchased from L. C. Tilton, referencing a flyer from the Livermore-Livermore Falls Historical Society, a lecture by Rev. Donald C. Taylor, "Lathrop Tilton Organ Factory, East Livermore," a History of Chesterville.

This entry appears to have been confused with the organ in Leeds, Maine. The same OHS Handbook sidebar references a second organ: "There is another Tilton organ in the Universalist Church at Brettuns Mills, a sectlon of Livermore, Maine. At the tlme the Leeds organ was constructed, the Tilton shop was located at Haines Corner in East Livermore."
