Jeff Scofield on November 17, 2021:

Ernest Tiedtke (1872-1950), along with his brother Charles Tiedtke, owned Tiedtke's Department Store in Toledo. It was considered by some to be "America's First Supermarket." He sold it in 1925 and wintered in the Orlando area.
