Database Manager on July 15, 2009:

Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner.  -- Theatre opened on Feb. 10, 1922. Acquired by the Consolidated Amusement Co. in January 1931; likely when the organ was removed. It was relocated to the Kailua Methodist Church in nearby Kailua, HI. In 1959, it was again relocated to their new edifice. The roof of the Kaimuki Theatre was damaged in a December 1980 a storm which resulted in much interior water damage. The theatre was demolished in January, 1982.
