Database Manager on May 23, 2019:

Updated by Carl Chadek. The first building for St. Hilary Parish was a temporary building that did not house an organ. This building was used from the beginning of the parish from 1926 to 1928. In 1928, a building that is now the gymnasium/cafeteria, was built and used until the current building was completed and opened in 1955-56. To my knowledge, no instrument was ever installed in this building. In my discussions with older parishioners, I was told that there was a pump organ in use. There is likely some confusion regarding records from Moller about this listing. Perhaps an instrument was proposed but never installed. Carl Chadek, Director of Music, St. Hilary Church, Chicago, IL.
