Updated through online information from Brad Cunningham. -- Original hand-operated bellows replaced with Kinetic Organ Blower. However, discarded original bellows and parts related to its operation are still on location, next to the electric blower.
Name plate on organ was stolen by "one of the top organ historians, and will be returned if the instrument is restored." This information was reported in a letter written by Morris Spearman of Spearman-Hawkinson Inc., to St. Mary Catholic Church 11 March 1996. This correspondence and other correspondence related to the removal of the nameplate without knowledge of the Diocese of Charleston, is on file with St. Mary Catholic Church.
