Database Manager on December 30, 2008:

The organ was removed to [careless] storage in the nearby Fulton Theatre in 1956. It was purchased by Rodney Yarborough, where it was installed in 1957, remaining there until 1962. The Kirby Theatre auditorium was demolished in 1970, although the office building that fronted the theatre remained.
