Database Manager on March 18, 2009:

Identified through on-line information from James C. Burke, Ph.D.. -- First Methodist Church (Front Street Methodist) in Wilmington, NC was consumed by fire in 1886. A new church building was built at a better location, 4th. and Mulberry (now Grace) streets. Grace Methodist Church was ready for services in August of 1887, and a new organ was delivered in late 1889. It was replaced in 1902.
