This entry represents the moving and reinstallation of a used organ another location without tonal or mechanical changes. Identified through online information from William Dunklin. -- Originally built as Schantz opus 1417 for Tennessee Valley Unitarian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1976. TVUC moved to a new facility in 1998 and sold the organ to Gatlinburg Presbyterian for $15,000.00. The Schantz organ was installed front and center at Gatlinburg Presbyterian. The Great unit Principal, Mixture III and bottom octave were exposed as in the original installation. The Gedackt, Gemshorn and Fagot were installed in a small chamber directly behind. No tonal alterations were made.
