Identified through online information from Sipke Pijl. -- Between 1885 and 1925 (i.e., during the time that the organ was built), the church was known as the First Presbyterian Church. In 1925, First Presbyterian amalgamated with First Methodist Church, becoming First United Church. The organ was electrified by Casavant (with a new console) in 1950, then rebuilt by Keefer in 1964.
