Database Manager on January 04, 2013:

This entry describes alterations to an existing organ. Identified by Scot Huntington, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This was an electrification, plus possibly, rebuilding and enlargement of the formerly tubular-pneumatic organ, by the original builder. While the Great division was originally unenclosed, after the rebuild, the entire organ was placed in a single expression enclosure within the original case, excepting the unenclosed Great Open Diapason 8 from which nos. 1-17 form the majority of the gilded pipe-fence facade.
