Database Manager on May 01, 2015:

The 1600-seat St. James Theatre was a 1912 expansion of the 800-seat Chickering Hall (built 1901). It was renamed the Uptown Theatre in the mid-1930s. The building was demolished in 1968; its site is now occupied by part of the Christian Science complex.
