The Geddes work occurred shortly after the Delaware rebuild removed the original Dulciana in favor of a two-rank Mixture leaving the Great without a soft stop. Geddes recycled an Austin Gemshorn 8' on an electro-mechanical chest placed on the left wall beside the case. This stop was available on the Great and Pedal at 8' pitch. A 2nd-hand set of Bourdon 16' pipes on an electro-mechanical chest was added to the Pedale at 16' and 8' pitches, replacing the original Sub Bass, chest, and mechanical action. A 2nd-hand Wurlitzer reservoir was added to the main windline to provide wind at static pressure to the Bourdon unit. When the Pedal was altered is uncertain at this time: the replacement of the original wind system that is attributed to Delaware, is installed in such a way that the original pedal action could not have existed in the present installation arrangement, so either Delaware replaced the pedal pipes and action with the current spurious components, or Geddes did and rebuilt the Delaware wind system with new metal trunks so the reservoir could fit in the present configuration. Seeing that it would take alot of unnecessary work for the latter option, the former attribution makes the most logical sense, even thought the chest work for the Pedal pipes and new Gemshorn seem extremely similar- perhaps ordered from the same supply house. In any case, the wiring for both units is sub-standard, and needs to be replaced or disabled for fire safety considerations.
In January 2019, S.L. Huntington & Co. installed a new Ventus blower, replacing the malfunctioning Spencer. The pressure was raised to 55mm- as high as the under-sized floating-top reservoir would permit in the present configuration. The organ is now in regular use following a decade of limited employment. The organ is in need of general renovation (especially the windchests) and the possibility of restoration to original condition is under discussion in 2019. The provenance of the electrical material and a more accurate time line of alteration will become more clear once the organ is dismantled.
