According to a March 23, 2021 email from Carol Van Eck - daughter of the last private owner of the organ - her father had told her that the organ was used by Mrs. Lansing for teaching. But utimately her health required her to give it up.

Identified through the Judd Walton Wurlitzer opus list. -- Wurlitzer "Style 35" Factory date: June 26, 1915

Originally built for Broadway-Strand Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. Sold at unknown time to Ed Lansing of Detroit. Sold ca. 1959 to Dr. James Edward Van Eck of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, who altered it considerably. In 1992, what was left of it was donated to the Music House Museum in Acme, Michigan by Dr. Van Eck's daughter Carol.
