NOTES
The organ is free-standing and encased in an expressive cabinet. The console is detached
and separate.
It was originally built for Simpson Bible College in San Francisco. In 1982 the organ was
moved to their new campus in Redding, and later loaned to the First Presbyterian Church
in Redding. It ultimately ended-up in storage in the Schoenstein shop wrapped in polycell.
In 2010, it was purchased through the Organ Clearing House by St. Bede's Catholic Church in
Pyrmont, NSW, Australia. It travelled through China, New Zealand and Tasmania and was de-
livered to St Bede's on 13 May 2010.
It was installed at St. Bede's by Darrell Pitchford without tonal alterations.only the
front case was altered with the addition of 11 gold dummy pipes from the church's previous
organ.
