NOTES
The organ is installed in the rear gallery in twin, divided cases on
either side of a central window. Each facade is wrap-around - having 26
pipes along the long side; 10 pipes along the short side, and 3 pipes at
the corner. The Great and the Pedal 16' Bourdon are on the left. The
Swell is on the right. The Pedal 16' Open Diapason extension is of wood,
and is divided on both sides. The Great 8' Open Diapason is the only
unexpressive manual rank, and has its first 32 pipes en facade. The Pedal
16' Bourdon has its first 5 pipes on the roof of the Great swellbox. The
cost of the organ was $8,000.00 installed.
The exact nomenclature of stops and controls is not verifiable since the
original console was replaced in 1975. Specifications given here are
based upon the extant original contract in the church's archives; upon
writing on the extant pipes themselves; and upon a photo of the original
console.
