NOTES
This was the installation of new slider chests for the manuals within the original Mudler-
Hunter swell boxes. The original Mudler-Hunter chests for the Swell unified 16' Bourdon,
the Pedal 16' Bourdon, and the Pedal 16' Open Diapason were all retained and restored.
The Swell Trumpet was placed on a new Kilgen-style E-P unit chest.
Tonally, the organ remained mostly like it had been in the 1975 B and V work, except that
the Clarinet was moved back to the Swell, the original 16' Swell Bourdon was reinstated as
a manual stop and unified to play at 16' and 4' pitches, the Swell Trumpet was extended to
play as a 4' Clarion, and was borrowed to the Pedal. A new Peterson relay system and console
components replaced the previously existing systems.
Sources: B&V files, JRS (who was a B&V employee and involved in this project); extant organ.
