NOTES
Schantz built the original organ in 1954 for First Presbyterian, Gainesville Florida.
The Swell was enclosed in the left chamber, the remainder of the organ in the right
chamber with the Choir prepared. Choir was added prior to 1966.
Kinzey-Angerstein completely rebuilt the organ in 1974, the swell chamber opening was
doubled in size with the addition of the original Great/Choir shutters. The Great, Pedal
and new Positiv were unenclosed with facade pipes from the Great Quintaden, Pedal Choral
Bass and Positiv Principal. Some of the Choir pipes were placed in storage to create the
Gallery organ at a later date.
Guzowski & Steppe completed the prepared for stops (Gallery organ, Great and Pedal
reeds) in the 1980s. The Swell 16 reed was extended to the low CCC at this time also.
The Swell II organ at Grace Lutheran is the Gallery organ relocated to the main organ
and enclosed. The Gemshorn Celeste was restored and the Bourdon added. The Cornet replaces
the mixture.
