Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) chests.

Three manuals. 4 divisions. 23 stops. 30 registers. 25 ranks. 1635 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in chambers at the center front of the room. There are no visible pipes. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, center.

Stop keys on angled jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. Adjustable combination pistons. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard.

  • In 1957 Temple Emanuel was the largest Reform congregation in Worcester; merged with Temple Sinai in 2013 to become Temple Emanuel Sinai; Temple Emanuel property sold to the Worcester State University Foundation in 2013, which gave the congregation an additional two years to use the facility.
