Bennett Organ Co. succeeded the Lancashire & Turner, Moline, Lancashire-Marshall and Marshall-Bennett firms; it was established in Rock Island, Illinois, in 1908. The Bennett firm was acquired by a group of businessmen of Rock Island, Illinois, in 1927, and eventually renamed the Rock Island Organ Co. which closed in bankruptcy in August 1930.
