Born June 26, 1874 in Germany; immigrated in 1880 to Milwaukee, Wisconsin; with William Schuelke firm of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, c. 1889-1901; with Philipp Odenbrett firm in Milwaukee; operated his own firm until c. 1960; died c. 1963; succeeded by Henry R. Weiland.
