Updated through online information from Eric J. Gastier. <br>In 1899 Schantz completed a thorough rebuilding of the organ rebuilding the tracker action, repairing windchests, and general releathering. Schantz also repitched the organ from "Concert" pitch to "International" pitch. Rebuild cost was $1025. The church and organ were destroyed by fire in 1911. (The previous church had also been destroyed by fire, in 1841, and the 1914 First Methodist building burned in 1994.)
