The organ is in acceptable condition despite only occasional maintainance. It is played rarely, for special ocasions. Perflex replaced the action leather during the period when it was thought to be an acceptable leather substitute. During the '90s, the perflex was replaced by leather. However the job was never completed and the Echo organ remains silent as does the pedal Tromba stop. The room also suffered due to poor decisions. The dome and ceiling were treated with a sound absorbing "popcorn" treatment which killed nearly all reverberation.
