As of July 6, 2026, this organ is no longer extant. After determining that restoration or dismantling the instrument for storage pending a future sale was not economically feasible, the University removed and dismantled it, despite efforts by alumni and former faculty to explore preservation or salvage options.

According to a Facebook post and the contractor’s website, this organ was removed and disposed of July 2026. Photos show the casework being cut up and pipes piled up awaiting disposal.
