This instrument has "been around." Originally installed in the Beacon Street Methodist Church in Bath, Maine, it was moved from there to the Baptist Church in the seacoast village of Parker Head around 1953. From there it went to Worcester Academy, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1959 and was installed at West Falmouth in June, 1961. The Open Diapason has 12 stopped wood basses. The Trumpet is not really missing, but is so badly damaged that it was not reinstalled. The Pedal-to-Manual Coupler and swell shades likewise were left out, but these mechanisms do exist in storage. -- 1963 OHS Handbook
