The church was designated a cathedral in 1941; a new Moller console was installed in 1961; Moller Op. R-738 was a complete rebuild of the Welte, retaining 25 ranks; the organ was completed in 1983 after further additions; Schantz installed a new console in 1996; renovation/restoration by Foley-Baker in 2013.
