Database Manager on May 7th, 2018:
"Immaculate Conception Church closed in 193 7, and the Van Dinter organ was moved to St. Frances of Rome Church by Joseph Ruf and installed in a tower recess. Through the efforts of the Rev. Richard Fowler, the Pastor of the church, the gallery was removed in 1978, and the Miller Pipe Organ Co. reinstalled the organ on the floor at the rear of the church, allowing much better tonal egress than had prevailed." -- *1993 OHS Handbook*
