Updated through online information from Thomas L. DeLay. -- The original Murray Harris organ was installed and dedicated in June 1909. The church and organ were destroyed by fire three months later. The California Organ Company organ was a duplicate of the original 1909 Murray Harris except the Oboe in the 1909 spec was changed to an 8' Vox Humana in the 1916 spec. The Murray Harris organ added to the California Organ Company organ was built in 1911 for St. James Episcopal Church Fresno.

Identified through online information from Thomas L. DeLay. -- Thi original organ was built by the California Organ Company, successors to the Murray M. Harris Company. The original church and 1909 Murray Harris organ burned three months after its installation. As originally configured, the Great was unenclosed. In 1949 the Great was enclosed and the facade pipes disconnected. A roughly 1911 Murray Harris organ from St. James Episcopal Church in Fresno has been added to the Mayflower instrument.
