Database Manager on April 18th, 2009:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The original Möller was a 2/7 with a lot of duplexing and unification. It had been a gift of the class of 1940. It was removed by the Pipe Organ Foundation in 2008 to a workshop at Lincoln High School provided by the School District. The Art Deco console was repaired and refinished. All new Syndyne components were utilized for the combination action and relay. A new coupler rail was necessary. All new drawknobs have been provided. The Organ is being enlarged with the addition of M. P. Möller Opus 10339, 1967 which was a gift from First Church of Christ Scientist in Palo Alto, CA. The original Roosevelt chests were water damaged, so the Palo Alto main chests were used. Some offset chests from Roosevelt were incorporated. All of the Roosevelt ranks except the Salicional were retained. Not all of the Palo Alto pipework was incorporated. The expression shutters were installed during Spring Break, 2009. The organ is scheduled for installation during the summer of 2009.
