Updated through online information from Jody Brumage. -- The Pomplitz & Rodewald Pipe Organ is preserved by the South Mountain Heritage Society, a non-profit historical institution that preserves the old Resurrection Reformed Church, whose congregation ceased activity in 1979. The organ is still in its original position, situated next to the chancel. A cart originally used to move the organ is also preserved in the church.
Updated through online information from steve bartley. -- The Reformed Church, now a historical society, shares a parking lot with the Lutheran Church, which is at 5 Main Street Burkittsville. When I last serviced the organ at the Lutheran church, 1999, I looked in the window of the Reformed church and the Pomplitz was still intact, in the front right of the the church.
