Identified through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ incorporated pipes from the church's 1909 Pilcher and 1930 Kilgen instruments. The organ was dedicated February 14, 1982, with a dedicatory concert by Dr. Clyde Holloway, Professor of Organ at Rice University. Over the years, some of the pipes became damaged by water and heat-induced metal fatigue. In 1996-97, Schantz replaced several ranks of pipes. The facade was also replaced with pipes made of polished zinc.
