Database Manager on August 7th, 2012:
Identified through online information from Burton K. Tidwell. -- The Tidwell organ was completed in March 2012. It was designed to integrate new pipework, recycled components and pipework from the Casavant, and digital voices to meet the church's expressed goal of an instrument best suited for worship and choral accompaniment. It is perhaps noteworthy that this project was completed with the blessing of the individuals most responsible for the Casavant: both the original committee chair and the consultant, Melvin West, under whose guidance so many instruments were built for SDA churches.
