Database Manager on January 17th, 2011:
Identified through information in Centenary Archives and Austin documents, courtesy of Stephan Reavis: -- "The original contract stated the chapel organ was 'constructed of whatever pipes and chests that can be used of either the old Centenary Organ (Hook & Hastings Co., 1923, Opus 2470) or the Old West End Organ (Cicero Tise Memorial Organ, Austin Organ Opus 415), with Console of the Centenary Organ used. All pneumatics and magnets to be renewed and replaced by the latest Austin Electro-Pneumatic action. This organ to be rebuilt in a first class manner and have the same guarantee as given the Organ in the Main Church.'"

Database Manager on January 17th, 2011:
Additional information from Stephan Reavis: -- Austin did not assign an opus number to the chapel organ, which was built from parts as indicated above, when Austin was installing Opus 1786 in the main church. The Hanes Chapel organ was rebuilt by Austin in 1987.
