This organ represents the installation of a new organ incorporating casework and pipework from the previous 1851 J.W. Walker/1912 Casavant. Identified through information in Casavant documents, courtesy of Simon Couture.

Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Retained some pipes and parts from 1912 Casavant Op. 502 that was badly damaged by the Halifax Harbour Explosion of December 1917, of which Op. 770 was a duplicate. Destroyed by fire June 2, 1994, and replaced by Létourneau Op. 76, 2002.
