Database Manager on March 28th, 2012:
Identified through online information from T. Daniel Hancock. -- It is unknown who moved the 1840 George Stevens organ to the South Windham Community Church in the 1880's, or from where. David Wallace notes "The organ is in very poor condition especially the Great pipework but is ultimately restorable for the right situation. It was modified to a "C compass organ in the 1880s when it was moved to the South Windham Church. All the original action is still in place, just the notes below CC were removed from the manuals. The pedal was rescaled to a C compass."
