Updated by Peter D. Robinson, who has heard or played the organ. <br> <br>The building in which the organ is accomodated is the former Bethany Lutheran Church on the corner of W. Main and Maple in downtown Waynesboro, which was sold to Good Shepherd Anglican Church. The organ has received a new blower (January 2019) and some of the dead notes have been repaired. Some revoicing is contemplated by the new owners to allow the Wetzel additions to integrate better with the original Austin organ.

Database Manager on April 30th, 2012:
Identified through online information from Bob Moody. -- Pipes are in chamber at the side of the chancel. Console was moved to rear balcony in 1960's when Mark Wetzel rebuilt the instrument, adding 6 ranks. A pitman chest outside the swell box was added at that time and 3 Klann relay racks were fitted to handle switching. These relays are now failing due to contracts breaking off from metal fatigue due to usage. This has caused several dead notes, but it is possible to work around them with creative use of couplers. The console is an Austin "Cash Register" console.
