Database Manager on July 19th, 2012:
The project was an expansion of the church's 1951 Möller organ and took 12 years to complete. The congregation purchased a 1961 Wicks organ (Opus 4095) from North Park University and combined the two organs, using the Wicks console, which is located in the balcony. The Wicks instrument also includes pipework from the University's previous Möller organ (Opus 6688). Much of the work, including the chancel pipe display, was completed by members of the congregation, but other parts of the project were done by Lauck Pipe Organ Company.
