Database Manager on July 30th, 2013:
This organ was originally installed in Room 424 of the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, N.Y. When Op. 1128 became available, Dr. Allen, an Eastman alum, arranged for the organbuilding firm of Lewis & Hitchcock to remove the organ and restore it in their Washington, D.C. shop. In 2006-07, the organ was reinstalled in Dr. Allen's duplex apartment at Grace Church, where he serves as Organist and Master of Choristers.
