Updated through online information from Davis Folkerts. -- This instrument has accessibility issues making tuning and maintenance difficult. It has noticeably deteriorated in the last decade and is now plagued with dead notes (water damage) and severely out of tune notes. The Trumpet stop is unusable.

Updated through information posted to OHS members list by Sdcot Huntington February 9, 2009: -- "... slider chests and 1/2" dia. zinc tubing. The repetition is slow due to the large tubing size and small exhaust ports but even after 120 years ... still extremely reliable."
