This instrument was an excellent example of Schlicker's ground breaking neo-baroque work in the 1960s. It was discarded ca. 2015 for the installation of a diametrically different and very large symphonically-inspired Schoenstein. The main organ and Antiphonal were broken up and recycled to different homes.
The information on the church's website which described the history of this instrument has been removed and the link to it disabled.
Relocated to St. James Episcopal Church, Fairhope, Alabama, where it was installed and rebuilt by Mann and Trupiano of Brooklyn, New York.
Updated through online information from William Barnes.
