This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Joe O'Donnell on March 6th, 2025:

The organ was moved from its original location in Michigan with minimal changes. The case has been augmented to accommodate a unit Dulzian at floor level behind the detached console. This stop plays at 16' and 8' on the Swell. A two-rank short-compass Sesquialtera was also added on an elevated chest within the Swell box.

Joe O'Donnell on February 28th, 2025:

This is Holtkamp Job 1899 of 1972, built for Christ Memorial Reformed Church of Holland Michigan, and installed here by Rutz Organ Company in 1990. 2021 additions to the Swell comprised a Sesquialtera II inside the box and an unenclosed 16/8' Dulzian unit just behind the console.

Database Manager on May 5th, 2017:

This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, who gave this as the source of the information: Saw and heard the organ in a video of the Good Friday service, 2017. The organ is free-standing and encased at the front of the room. The console/keydesk appears to be attached and in fixed position at the center of the case. It is in the style of a Holtkamp console.
