Updated through online information from Jayson R. Engquist (September 2, 2025): Richard Greene's information about "church being razed in the 1970s" is NOT correct. This building is STILL extant. After the Steere (originally in the Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, MN) was moved to St. James's on the Parkway, Minneapolis it functioned for some years. A rear balcony was constructed at the time to accommodate the Steere organ. Around 2000 the Steere was removed (parted out and some of the pipework was installed at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Sunfish Lake, MN by Patterson Organ Co.). An Allen organ was installed (up front) at St. James's on the Parkway. St. James's has now been converted to condominiums (both church building and adjoining school). The congregation has merged with another Episcopal church (St. Luke's Episcopal in Minneapolis) and they have changed the name to Grace Episcopal (using the former St. Luke's building with its existing Moller organ).
Updated through online information from Richard C Greene. -- The church was razed in the 1970s. The fate of the organ is unknown.
The original builder was Steere & Turner (1890, Opus 301).
