Database Manager on August 4th, 2018:

This entry describes alterations to an existing organ.

Identified by James R. Stettner, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Kevin Bishop, Music Dir. who also made some of the tonal changes.

During a phone conversation with Kevin Bishop on August 3, 2018, I learned that ca. 1995 he made some tonal changes to the existing Estey. Both the Swell 8' Salicional and 4' Harmonic Flute were moved up an octave in pitch making a 4' Salicional and 2' Harmonic Flute. Additionally, organ caretaker Larry Nevin altered and revoiced the Great 8' Dulciana to be a 4' Principal, and the original Swell tenor C, labial 8' Oboe was replaced with a used 8' Clarinet. The parish website indicates that the Oboe was discarded.
