William Gaines on March 12th, 2023:
The pipework came from two instruments: the first one came from a 1913 Ernest M. Skinner Organ (Opus 195) from Williamstown College in Williams, MA. and the other one came from a 1939 Casavant Frères (Opus 1600) from the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Darlington, NJ. The Harmonic Trumpet, Chimes & Zimbelstern were carried over from the previous 1972 Schantz organ (Opus 1125). The main blower originally came from the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, IL after the organ over there was restored by Quimby in 2015, and then reinstalled into the church where it is today. The Antiphonal organ in the back of the church still retains the blower and reservoirs from the 1972 Schantz. This organ features the Integrated Organ Technology Inc. Virtuoso line of control systems.
