According to a March 21, 2022 post by Jake Morris of Redman Pipe Organs on Facebook's 'Pipe Organ Builders Group' with accompanying photos - the Moller is being removed because of damaged plaster walls requiring abatement in the Main Auditorium. The organ will receive both tonal and mechanical upgrades, and then be reinstalled.
Originally installed in 1924 as 3/33 Moller Op. 3993; rebuild, new console and tonal changes by Moller in 1949; tonal revisions by Redman Organ Co. 1992-92 and Schudi Organ Co. 1999-2004; the 1949 Moller console has been retained throughout; the organ retains all of its 1949 action; there is no solid-state switching or combination action.
Related Instrument Entries: M. P. Möller (Opus 7676, 1949)
